Meet Irene Moore
I have been involved in the art world for many decades, beginning with a degree in Fine Arts in the 1960s. From the 1970s to the mid-1980s, I worked in both Fashion Design and Interior Design. In 1984, while in the Sultanate of Oman, I was introduced to the Japanese art of Ikebana by the wife of the Japanese Ambassador. Since 2005, I have been teaching and demonstrating Ikebana to numerous flower clubs, with my most recent demonstration held in Paris at the Sogetsu France Branch. In March 2025 I was again elected to be Director of Sogetsu London Branch.
